Nass LandingBarbara Grundeman, a lifelong resident of Michigan, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Design from the University of Michigan, majoring in painting and art education. Upon graduation, she taught art at the University of Michigan Hospital School in Ann Arbor.
Landscapes and seascapes have always been Barbara’s favorite subject matter. Her inspiration comes mainly from the diversely scenic states of Michigan, California, and Colorado, where she lives and has family. She is drawn to scenes that include something weathered and aged by the ravages of nature itself. This object becomes the focal point with the natural beauty of the landscape as its backdrop.
